Become a Certified Wedding Consultant, Designer or Stylist today with the Academy.
Upon completion of your chosen course you will become a Certified Wedding Professional through the Academy of Wedding and Event Planning. This will be recognized within the industry through our accreditation program which is included within your enrollment fee. Many organizations that offer wedding planning courses require membership payments each year to confirm your educational status and graduation from your chosen program, but this is not the case with the Academy. We continue to work with our students after they have graduated and actively encourage them to keep us updated of their progress. With offices internationally including the UK, Australia and New Zealand you will always have a strong support network around you wherever you are.

Successful candidates in any of our Diploma Courses qualify as follows:
- Diploma in Wedding and Event Planning (Dip. Wed.Event.Plan.)
- Diploma in Wedding Planning, Styling and Design (Dip.Wed.Style.Des.)
- Diploma in Event Planning and Design (Dip.Event.Plan.Des.)
- Advanced Diploma in Special Event Planning and Design (Adv.Dip.Event.Plan.Des)
The Diploma is awarded at Distinction, Credit or Pass level.
What is the difference between The Academy of Wedding and Event Planning and some of the other programs offered such as the Wedding Planning Institute?
Academic Institutions are great if you are looking to take a more standard career path such as hairdressing or fashion, but for an industry such as the wedding industry it requires a more hands on approach. Courseware written and tutored by those with in-depth knowledge currently working within the industry is vital. Academic Institutions are reviewed on a regular basis by third parties who have no working knowledge of weddings or events and are open to standardization which may be great for other industries but doesn't work for the wedding industry. The Academy courses are reviewed by 3rd party partners from within the industry to ensure a high standard is maintained without allowing the course content to be compromised. We are still members of educational bodies such as LERN who ensure that we adhere to a code of ethics, produce quality learning programs and ensure thatALL material is on par with other Academic Institutions and meets and exceeds the minimum standards.
